Monitoring with TimeBase Monitor
One simple way to monitor live data being stored into TimeBase is to open the TimeBase Monitor. Highlight the Storage block and click right-mouse-button TimeBase Monitor.
- A new browser window should be opened with web interface for TimeBase Monitor.
- Turn on Message Tracking at the top of the page if you want to monitor detailed data loading information.
- The TimeBase Monitor page lists all open cursors and loaders. You should see the loader targeted at the stream which you configured in the
aggregator.xml
file.
- Click on the loader Id hyperlink to get detailed statistics for each symbol being loaded (on the actual page).
- Refresh all pages to get up-to-date information (pages do not refresh automatically).
Monitoring with TimeBase Administrator
TimeBase Administrator can also be used to view data loaded into TimeBase.
- Launch Timebase Manager.
- Expand TradeAndBBO node and highlight AAPL. Select right-mouse-button Monitor.

Monitoring with Aggregator Monitor
Another simple way to monitor live data being stored into TimeBase is to open the Aggregator Monitor. Highlight the Aggregator block and click right-mouse-button Aggregator Monitor.
- A new browser window should be opened with a web interface for Aggregator Monitor.
- The Aggregator Monitor page lists all configured Aggregator processes.
- Click on Statistics button for corresponding Process Key if you want to monitor detailed data loading information.
- Refresh all pages to get up-to-date information (pages do not refresh automatically).
