Get started​

Start TimeBase, then follow the plugin quickstart to install it for your coding agent. The repository has the current list of supported tools and instructions for updating an existing installation.

Agent skills​

Agent skills give coding agents instructions for TimeBase work. They help an agent write and repair QQL and work with TimeBase client code in Python and Java. Skills also support C# and C++ for Enterprise Edition.

TimeBase MCP​

TimeBase MCP connects an AI agent to a TimeBase instance. It lets an agent:

  • List streams and inspect their schemas and symbols.
  • Preview messages and run QQL queries.
  • Check server status and activity.
